The Onyerbike demo day is scheduled for 10am start and set up at the HUB car park. I think a quick meet greet and departure is in order to make sure you don't get stuck behind the masses. Once you are heading up towards the top section I expect it will be quieter as those demoing will most likely stick to the bottom half and maybe the hope line. I'm hoping to get there but I some how managed to come back from India with a worse chest than I went and I'm currently on an inhaler and awaiting a prescription of ant biotics later today. If I'm better than 60% fit Ill be there and just wheeze my way around. Mate, seriously, that doesn't sound like a good idea. There will be other rides, sometimes you have to put your health top, no matter how much you want to ride. If you are on an inhaler now and are relying on anti-biotics to get you fit for the weekend....seriously, have a think about what you are saying. Sorry to come over all 'Dad' on you but I'd hate to see anyone off here do summat daft and say nowt.

Cheers thanks for the concern, if I'm not up to it I wont make it but will be majorily pissed at missing on the opportunity to meet up. Also at missing another weekend bik8ing, I'm planning on coming on the Snowdon ride with Mike and his bro in law but haven't said for certain as I seem to have been having on going health issues for ages now. That's why I say if I feel semi fit ill come as I cant remember the last time I was fully free of some bug or cold or other.
I've had a bad chest infection followed by numerous so called bacterial infections leading since last summer, at the same time I've had symptons of irritable bowel and acid reflux. The knob doctors as only this week put the two together to realise that I have some form of Dyspesia which is more than likely causing all of these bacterial infections. I'm pissed off that's its taken so long for the penny to drop as I've missed loads of riding opportunities along with feeling pretty crap more or less one in every other week. just glad that it looks like I may be finally sorted out in time to get fit ahead of the planned enduros and the summer months.
Hope to see you all on Sunday, ill be in a red focus estate if I do, if not have a good one.
Also for those that aren't familiar the route I would suggest would be to do the whole 8, but when starting the back end of the last section after dropping through the woods, you rejoin the fireroad which leads up towards the hope line climb or on to the last few sections, I would climb back up and do the hope line then. If you don't want to climb back up the fire road you can do get to the hope line by following the fire road right around after the Hully Gully and crossing the river but it will cut out one fairly decent section. The plus side is it leads right past the leap of faith and the DH section with drop offs if you wanted session any of those bits.

Good luck Kirky - sorry to hear you are struggling with health mate - hope it improves. I've been having IBS symptoms too which at the moment is making it really difficult for me to travel far away from a trail centre bog on a ride! Mrs (and a mate!) finally persuaded me to get it checked out through private health at work, just waiting for an appointment to come through. Started a couple of years back and has steadily got worse until I am now known as the 'Bear of Llandegla woods'

Sounds grim, I only get random occurences of IBS problems, puts me into a really uncomfortable state for a while of feeling like Im burning up and then badly bloated and painful stomach, but sound like the opposite of your problem. Buscopan is my friend! As soon as I feel my palms start itching I neck a couple of tablets and tend to fight off if not much reduce the symptons. Avoiding spicy food and heavy carbs helps in the long term.
I hope you get sorted any long running health issue gradually starts to get you down.
