Anybody have an opinion or experience of this tyre?
I'm after a replacement for the Hans Damph on the back of my bike!

I've got a Specialized Slaughter on the back of my bike, it's pretty much identical to the rock razor. Grips damn well considering The apparent slick look. Side knobs dig really well under braking.
You'll love it.

I saw the reviews but wondered if anyone had actually used one. Can't see the point in changing of it's no better than the Hands Damph.

Covertdaz has just starting using one and he's well impressed with it.ive read that you have to crank it over in the turns to get the shoulders to bite otherwise you'll be washing out.

The reviews say that it's a great tyre for everything but the steepest of DH tracks when you need to control speed with rear braking.
I think i'll get one after the weekend.

I'd be interested in getting one for a summer tyre if only the weather would make it's mind up, it looks like we are forecast snow for next week :s

Really surprised you don't rate the HD's - I think they are solid. Be interesting to see how you get on with another make. Nelly reckons it's just a quirk of the NP geom and he's bigger than you.

I think Nobby Nics are better than Hans Damph. The back end is lively and I love it that way. Just can't get any grip at all on sharp climbs with Hans Damph!

The rock razor is one of them tyres that you need confidence riding, when I went to wharney with Paul, Matt and Michael it delt with the steep DH runs with ease.
It was just some of the climbs that it slipped on when the mud clogged up. But if you like a loose tyre then your not gonna like this, I have the Trail version and it sticks like the brown stuff to a blanket. One tip though run it tubeless or you won't get the benefit of the side knobs has good has running tubed up.
I run a magic Mary up front which is a SG and it needs to be quite low pressure to get the grip which I was surprised at. But both tyres do work well together.
