I'd bring an extra removable layer, i usually take pitta breads, with Honey, some boiled sweets. make sure you have a spare quick link, gear cable, atleast 2 inner tubes.. Some very jagged rocks about! Regardless of being tubeless or not... Small first aid kit, for scrapes. I often scrape my ankles.. Etc

I'll substitute the pita bread with a pasty. I'm really looking forward to this ride. Weather looks OK too.

Ok. I'm all set I think, just got to clean me bike tomorrow!
Also, got to pop to Tesco for me pasties and bananas.
Would any of you be interested in riding up Snowdon one of the days?

A lot of people going up tend to come down the Ranger path. I think the traditional route up is the Llanberis (or however it's spekt) path.

I went up last year, and came down Rangers... IMO the ride up ain't worth it... If your honing wales it's gotta be CYB or BPW

You can only ride up 65-70% max the rest your pushing or carrying unless you can get up 4ft boulders on a 15% gradient...

More of an adventure than anything and I'd be able to say my mountain bike has actually been up and down an actual mountain lol I really want to go to Afan too.

I haven't ever been to that place, my next place to visit will be Dalby... It's XC orientated, and good for all skills levels... Then back to Wales perhaps... In between, maybe a bit of Cannock
