Same! very confused. I fitted a tapered fork to a straight 44m steerer used a hope part though the Nukeproof version from what I can see is EX44-40-B5 external 44 with a 1.5 steerer exit.
Whats the cup size on the bottom of the headset?

Hahaha this is getting out of hand!!! I think I'm confusing everything. Bottom line at the moment is I'm going to get the crown race removed and leave as is with the 1.5-1,1/8 converter in and everything should be hunky dory Now time to get it even more dirty!!! Finally!!

So here we go! Fork striped, converter off and crown race removed. Turned out to be pretty easy, not to tightly fitted. Converter ready to be knocked in with my ghetto crown race setter All done Looking good Closeup Ready to ride!

reeeeeesult Cheers! Got a wee ride out on the machair (huge grassy/sandy land before the beach) at the back of the house tonight. Super dark, stars were awesome and even a glow of aurora, add in some fireworks at the far end of the beach made a good night out. GoPro just doesn't do the photo justice

Ha I wish I could say the cave is mine... Staying with the in-laws until our new house is ready. He has got everything you could ever need in there! Yea I am very lucky up here, we have the chance to see them quite often if the weather decides to let us Here's one I got out my bedroom window last month Next Door Aurora by Matthew Morrison, on Flickr If you guys are interested think I might start a wee thread for my non-biking photos in the off topic place?..?

Well last week I had decided to sell up this bike, due to renovation costs and extra cash would help. However after digging it out and giving it a clean I have come to my senses... I can't let it go! Its a beaut of a bike and I will probably never get something like this again if I moved it on. So I will be selling my camera gear up instead and buying a nice little Sony RX100, pretty beastly pocket camera instead. Happy days, awesome bike and a handy pocket rocket of a camera to take out on the trails instead of a massive bag of gear How it stands

Haha myself really. I really do need to calm down and take a step back to think things trough, in less than 3 years bike-wise I had the following Raleigh M-Trax (bought 2008ish) Cube Analog (April 2013) On*One 456 (August 2013) On*456 Summer Season frame swap (March 2014) Rocky Mountain Slayer (September 2014) Nukeproof Mega (Novemeber 2015) Camera wise I've been through 6 SLR's in 5 years! So from now on I need to stick with what I have and be happy. Right, now enough of this deep conversation and on with the bike stuff

Not good! Not good at all! To be honest I'm not too clued up on compacts myself. For that kind of money and from what I have seen a Sony RX100 mk1 might be right up your street, I'm looking at a mk2 which is around £220ish second hand. If you want some convincing take a look at the two links below. www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/sony-rx100.433610/www.flickr.com/groups/rx100/pool/Between the mk1 and mk4 (Big money) the image quality isn't that different, it's more the features that have improved. It's a tough choice, wife has a Canon S110 which is decent as well but she doesn't use it too often as her phone is too handy.

Well that rx100 has a wide f1.8 lens (let's more light in = faster shutter speed) at its widest. So could be a good option.

Nice one Mata - glad you're keeping the Mega. That's a fair few cameras you've been through! I need to get rid of most of my camera gear at some point - only really use my Canon G10 and not my SLR any more.
