just to confirm the route for thursday.start with a climb past ladybower inn, up derwent moor, whinstone lee tor,down to fairholmes,up screaming mile down hagg farm switchbacks, up wooler knoll and win hill and down win hill (probs in the dark) to the big plug ole...finish.

what a beautiful evening for a peaks ride.thanks for the company jack and tony......really enjoyed tonight! the climb up derwent edge tony and jack ready for the descent descending to ladybower top of hagg side top of win hill top of win hill top of win hill just before the tasty descent

yep could extend it for a longer dayride. i like the 2nd to last photo, with the long shadows of the stones coming towards the camera (i know! a bit wierd)

We started at the pub mate and went up that descent to derwent edge then back down the slabbed bit to lady bower,

i love some cheekyness but we still have to be respectful to walkers especially when we shouldnt be there. just being serious for a moment, there is alot of work going on with mountain bike representatives from ride sheffield and other groups.they've gone a long way proving that us riders can be responsible enough to share trails. poor or selfish riding by just a few, can undo alot of great work done by these people acting on our behalf. new concession bridleways have opened up recently round the edge of the peaks as a result of the meetings and hopefully more will open up in the future. its up to us to show other users that we're not a bad bunch.........................well most of us anyway
