You know I would if I could but the combo of no-wheels and meetings at work makes it almost impossible! Have fun

first tubeless ride then today......my opinion gonzalo?.................er dont know! it was only a steady 14 miler, im still nursing sore ribs from the bowderdale comedy falls. bike felt nice on the loose rocky uphill technical stuff, felt like it was rolling up the rocks nicely. it felt good on the fast rocky downs, but then the mega is good on that stuff anyway. i enjoyed the ride today but dont know if it was down to tubeless, better wheels, new rear tyre, ground conditions, me on a good day or perhaps a combination of any of them. im reserving judgement for now, but certainly no negatives apart from the initial faff.

Great shot as usual...it must take you ages to get it right?! Im surprised if you don't notice the difference with the wheels in the tubeless setup...in terms of response/torque, rolling better and the reduction in weight alone. Of course they don't come with an engine attached but I'm sure you will get even better in the climbing and hopefully feel yourself getting there quicker and less tired. But to be fair you would probably notice it more the other way around, if you were put the old wheels back on in a few rides. LOL Those wheels were made for the Mega...nice colour co-ordination!
ps- shit...didn't realise you hurt yourself...assume on that last fall i didn't see on the "bridge"!? Hope you recover soon mate. As soon as i get my wheels, ill be in touch. Im also going to start going out with Nick to get my cycling fitness back. been doing a few 3-4 miles runs to shake the rust off!?

mike its the mam tor bridleway. yeah it is a good descent, but i havnt been up it for ages, so thought why not? G yeah felt good on the rolling and the wheels are definately lighter. i was riding with 30 psi and will have a bit of a play with pressures but 30 felt good i didnt even know i'd hurt my ribs till i was driving home you'll certainly get fit riding with nick and the others he rides with

I used to run 30-31 on the rear and 26-27 front...2 less if proper wet and muddy for better grip. but you can get as low as 20-23 but i was always concerned with damaging the rims!? no punt intended!?
