Well I originally ordered a 2016 alpine 160 but orange no more had any XL frames left and they weren't making them anymore due to next years model, so they apologised obv and offered me 2017s bike at a nice price. So after a longggggg 5 month wait I eventually picked her up today, I wouldn't have sold the mega so quick if I knew but it's been fun using the hardtail as a main bike, anyhow enough of the dribble here is 1 pic. I'll get a nice daylight pic of the full bike tommorow when I'm out

Well I broke her in gently yesterday, it feels awesome but that's probably mixed with new bike syndrome as everything feels fast and beautiful lol I wasn't hammering it just a little tootle so I look forward to throwing it at some things.... oh before I forget, here you goes.

I'll be honest ..I'm not usually an Orange fan ..based purely on a test ride (a 5 650b) at a demo day ..but if that rides as good as it looks .. Edit : I was thinking what the hell is that wire loop around the seat post...then realised it's your filler cap on the car! Lol

I wouldn't ever thank you for Five but I do have a soft spot for the Alpine.
I like the black with Orange logos as well.
How does it climb? I always imagine them to be awful climbers based on nothing mind you so I am probably wrong

Yeah I'm glad I stopped with the jet black and orange as when orange revealed there new custom colours I was tempted to get something bright but every bike I've had has been bright lol.
It seemed to climb good, it's the first time I've ridden 650b and if you point it anywhere it will just plough through it up and down, although I will be able to say what it's really like after a good few rides. The rear swingarm has been tweeted and I have to say it looks way better than previous alpines although most were complaining about it lol.

Cool bike! It will be interesting to see how those rims will cope on a big-hitter like the Alpine? I would swap the seat collar for a non quick-release!? Lol. Enjoy!
