Well you certainly couldn't be accused of mis - selling this. While the idea of a nice lunch and coffee and cake at the end is very appealing ... How gentle is a gentle jaunt ? I'm no speed machine .. But how you can spin out a 12 mile ride to last until lunchtime without finishing the ride .. I can't quite grasp...have the retro-bikes got wooden wheels ? No offence intended retro bikers ... Have a great day

They always start late , lots of chatting , a few silly walk up climbs , good long lunch stop and back to the car for 3 , easy really , the weather was shit , the climbs were tough (including a bit of carrying, the downhills were good but slippy , the top of the moors were bleak to say the least but all in all a good jaunt out , 2500 ft of climbing and descending in 4.5 hours , as I said a gentle jaunt as it's about a good day out not blitzing strava times and we wait for the slowest rider to not only catch up but also catch there breath .
