I've heard degla has a good mix of everything not just hills and sheep, like the peaks.. The place is great fun! If you do the full red route and take all the black options, there are a few short, sharp climbs that will get you breathing heavily! It's a very 'jump' orientated place but you can roll everything.. I've always felt it's a long way to go just for 1 lap of the red/black so we usually have a bite to eat after the first lap and then either do another lap or have a blast around the blue route! The blue route is a great ride to be honest, fast and flowing with nothing technical and no real climbs apart from the 3 miler straight from the car park! To finish the day, we usually have a play in the skills area if it's not too busy and then do a few laps of the freeride part. In the freeride area there's a long boardwalk that'll test your balance.. If you fall, it's a good 4-5 foot drop to the floor I like the place.. Can't really compare it to the likes of CyB because it's been a while since I've been there. The bacon, sausage and egg baps from the cafe are legendary. There's even a pub down the road And if anybody falls off (Will), I'm not taking the blame (Will)..
