Following on from my previous thread regarding a forum weekend which went off in a different direction .. I have decided to give this it's own thread .
I have provisionally booked this for the dates above and have already had commitment behind the scenes so to speak .
The camping barn at Barrowburn is like a camping trip without the tent click on this link www.barrowburn.com for further info and what equipment you would need to bring .
The Friday evening would consist of a short night ride taking in some excellent singletrack alongside the Usway Burn which starts from the doorstep of the building itself ...at that time of year lights shouldn't be needed..but it wouldn't harm.
Saturday a full day ride in the Cheviot Hills some tough climbs .. But equally some fantastic descents with a bit of everything thrown in.
Saturday evening BBQ ...and drinks ( bring your own)
Sunday .. Another short ride before heading home for those who have a clear enough head!
The Barrowburn Tea Rooms are just down the hill and are run by the same folks ..so available for breakfasts sat.& Sunday and can also provide packed lunches. br]For those who are unaware this is a beautiful , wild and unspoilt area of the country..with top notch riding to match
