Got my mum to drop me off at my local DH trails at 8:30am this morning (pissing down with rain) and decided to make my own video with my iphone and a little tripod i have. aswell it was all edited on my iphone with imovie which is quite handy. I ended up being out for 5 and a half hours as i also rode home (35km) in the pouring rain. here it is: www.pinkbike.com/video/387583/

it says set it between 6-7Nm and all bolts were 6Nm before the ride as i did a bolt check before i went out as the bike is newish and some bolts have worked loose the previous week and im now abit anal about torque settings. so i rule out the over tightening,

same issue here with magic mary front and hans dampf rear on a set of flow ex 650b with schwalbe super gravity tires. aswell i have also trashed a set of decals and snapped 3 tyre levers. i have noticed if they are on for a few weeks the bead does stretch abit so they are a little bit easier to get on and off but a real b*stard to get on first time. with the issue of the tubes ive just gone tubeless, just blows up and seals every time due to tight bead

find a balance between not being to forward and not being to over the back. also try to loosen up as its easier to shift your weight around in the air.. basically just keep practising and will come over time.

i just built up my nukeproof mega 27.5'' a few weeks ago and i am getting a terrible knocking sound from the shock. i have removed the shock checked the linkages and torque for every bolt. the shock is brand new... anybody else had the same issue? by the way my shock is currently at fishers outdoor for a warranty claim.... maybe a debon air replacement?

yes but i did not return it to bike discount. i took it straight to my local bike shop and they sent it straight to fisher outdoor (sram service centre and rockshox supplier) and they sent me a new one. but that was because it kept loosing pressure even after a proper service by fishers themselves

Just put my hope bottom bracket in my 2014 and the thread is fucked... Well the first 4 threads have been flattened so I'm hoping to get it tapped... Luckily all the material is there to work with so might be lucky... Keep you updated as it's the last bloody part to my build
