DH bikes are a little different to regular bikes in sizing, the difference from small to medium to large is not the stand over height it's the top tube or reach. The BB to seat tube collar will be very similar but the reach will be the factor for people in DH has most of the time your going down steep sections so need to be comfortable over the back with enough control at the front. Hope that makes sense I might be talking waffle but this is what I learnt from trying different DH bikes before settling on the Large Scott Gambler? if you look at the sizing chart on the link you'll see what I mean the difference between people using a medium over a large or a small to a large is not a lot. You could comfortably get on a large if you was 5ft IF you had ape arms:) long reach. www.scott-sports.com/us/en/products/238263007/SCOTT-Gambler-710-Bike/

The rock razor is one of them tyres that you need confidence riding, when I went to wharney with Paul, Matt and Michael it delt with the steep DH runs with ease.
It was just some of the climbs that it slipped on when the mud clogged up. But if you like a loose tyre then your not gonna like this, I have the Trail version and it sticks like the brown stuff to a blanket. One tip though run it tubeless or you won't get the benefit of the side knobs has good has running tubed up.
I run a magic Mary up front which is a SG and it needs to be quite low pressure to get the grip which I was surprised at. But both tyres do work well together.

2 of us at degla both had problems both with schwalbe tyres? I prefer tubeless and will sort mine out asap but it was a big surprise when all the air suddenly wasn't in the tyre any more that was the new Rock Razor I've just put on? Threw a tube in and up it went will have a go tomorrow and get it back running tubeless.

A recent trip to Llandegla saw me getting the tranny prepped to hit the hills! I hate hills so I thought an extender for the rear cassette would do well on this occasion. I also wanted some new tyres and go back to tubeless so bikediscount.de had what I wanted for nearly half price a a Rock Razor for the rear and a Magic Mary for the front both evo TL. Well the mods where fitted and I was a bit concerned regards the Rock Razor especially when you saw the weather on Saturday in degla?!? I need not worry it performed flawlessly all day

I was with Joe at Stainburn, he's sh!t hot on a bike and knows how to translate it out on the trails so it's easy to pick up what he's saying and after that it sticks in your head. I didn't think I id taken it in after the course but it soon hits you that your riding is definitely different
You'll love it mate
