I'll check them out but to be honest they'll probably be filthy by the end of the Sunday Fixed Lol, how'd you know? Had a ride over some of the Ard' Moor enduro stages today........ windy, horizontal rain, mud, no grip, mud!! Great fun though

I like the attention to detail of matching things...not that I have OCD! Lol Oh it's all got to match, the only thing that bugs me slightly is the grips aren't a perfect colour match

Cheers lads, yeah I've read about the pedal strikes and I don't think it should bother me that much. The El Guapo was pretty low and suffered massively from pedal stikes when I first got it. Soon learned to adjust my riding style to minimise it. I'll write up a little review in a couple of weeks. I'm taking it out on sunday on some of the trails they used on the Ard' Moors Enduro a couple of weeks back and I'm doing a race at Innerleithen next weekend so that should give me a good idea of how it goes. Can't wait

So here she is 2017 Transition Patrol with super deluxe monarch plus Rockshox Lyrik RCT3 Hope tech enduro on pro 4 hubs XT 11 speed 11-42 XT brakes Reverb stealth Renthal carbon bars Not ridden it yet, that'll have to wait till the weekend but I'm well pleased with how it's turned out

I often find myself liking and sharing random competitions you see on Facebook wondering if anyone actually does win anything on these things. Well today my inner cynic was proven wrong when a message dropped into my inbox saying I'd won some pedals for liking and sharing a competition a few weeks back. Here they are in all their glory, well chuffed considering they're 100 quid pedals. Well nice too

I bought some, wore them once and never used them again. Found them too uncomfortable. Always wear my knee pads though Which ones are they, that you find uncomfortable? They were 661 pads, to be fair only bought them for downhill would never wear elbow pads for general trail riding

I'd shoot for the pikes, but you've got to decide what £170 is worth to you. Pikes probably the best forks I've ridden. This..... you'd always wish you'd bought the pikes if you went for the yari

I've just bought a new lyrik rct3 for the price of a pike and have ordered some hope Tech enduro rims on new hope pro 4 evo hubs for 330 quid. So £1030 all in

Buy the bike that will make you most happy for the best/right money. Remember, tomorrow another new standard will come...its like a carrot in front of your eyes, and tomorrow the next best thing will come. This 100%, I've just ordered a new 2017 frame and it's non boost and it doesn't bother me in the slightest
