Really cracking fleet mate!.. Thanks fella.. Had my first ride on the 456 yesterday morning. So fast and chuckable, even more so than the Ti version I had! The only things I want to change are the front tyre, currently 2.25 and I want a 2.40. Go tubeless. And I'm still messing with the forks!

I'll keep experimenting.. I'll carry my shock pump with me for a while yet!
I'm riding today with a guy who LOVES Fox so I'll see what he can do!
I've already got the rebound towards the middle..
I have my Lyrics set a bit on the soft side so as to use all the travel.. Love them forks, I do!

You're in the New to Fox category... You'll take some swinging, as you've always ran RS ..... Bare with it! They're cracking forks, and you got a cracking price!

All very nice, get some gears on that SS, no gears is so 2013! Nah.. Can't beat a bit of singlespeed riding! I mainly use it to see the total annoyance and to hear all the comments after I pass a load of folk on big hills lol. Seriously though, it's superb fun and does wonders for your bike fitness!

456 Update..
Bike is now minus a rear mesh and forks.
The mech on my Mega broke just before a trip to the Peak District so I took the one off the 456 instead of cancelling the ride. I've ordered a new mech for the Mega and so the 456 will get it's XT back.
The forks I bought were fucked so I've sent them off to Mojo for a good seeing too. Hopefully, I'll get them back early next week.
The 456 is also without a chain, I can't remember where it is or why I took it off!
On a plus, I have now fitted a Fat Albert 2.4 to the front of the 456 and kept the Nobby Nic 2.25 on the rear.
After riding the 456 twice with suspension that didn't work properly, I can tell it will become my main bike. It's so fast and agile and feels stable as hell around corners. I can only assume the handling will be better with correctly working forks..
Can't wait to get back on it..

Make sure you get a record of work done... If they were put together wrong, maybe you can claim back from the bellend who sold them too you!

Sweet as! Very nice indeed ....do you have a favourite? Although I've only ridden it twice, I think the 456 will be my favourite I had a Ti 456 which I sold and this carbon one is the same, FAST lol Love the carbon on one! Wonder how much different the new carbon vs the old rides. How do you find it for climbing ? It's good at climbing.. Really good! I've never been one for locking suspension on climbs and even with the 'bobbing' it goes up almost aswell as it comes down :)Great collection of bikes, I love the mega Thanks.. The Mega is my first ever full suspension bike and maybe a bit over the top for the majority of my riding but, It's so much fun. Point it down a hill and it almost rides itself

Either spend maybe £500 on new forks or get the Fox looked at! It's costing me £140 at Mojo. If the problem is sorted, the forks will owe me £290 which is still good.. If the problem isn't sorted and I have to pay too much more, I'll consider binning them and possibly buying a new set with fancy Kashima! I've sent the seller a few e-mails and not had a response from any so not holding out for and money back. Whilst you're here... What do the numbers men around the dropout?

My enduro is my first full suss and although I don't need it for most of what i ride its just so much fun and more than makes up for what I lack in skill. Its like a tank, it'll ride over most stuff.I imagine the mega to be the same. I hadn't really seen many nukeproofs before getting the enduro but if I had the choice again i think id be torn between the two.

Depends which way you look at them I guess... Right! By the numbers you'll notice a little clip, this clip aligns with a certain number in order for the Maxle lever to tighten up in the correct position on the other side... So for example if you want the Maxle lever to align at 90 degrees to the fork lower, that little clip aligns to a certain number... If that makes sense.. It's to stop over tightening and aids wheel removal... Nothing to scientific..

lever should sit almost flush with the fork lower, just in front, if it doesnt you adjust the number till it closes in the right position with fox its supposed to be 4 or 5 full turns then close
