The latest fad. This time next year, you'll be able to pick up a £1,000 fat bike for about £300. You know I'm right.

Although I agree with the OP I've got to laugh at the diversion.
Spiffing thread gentlemen.

Aren't we all hyping over 29+ now? A mate of mine is waiting for his Indy Fab 29+ frame in January.. Spending thousands on it too! I'll be getting a fat bike at some point. Awesome fun to ride. It's usually the people who haven't used one that say they are shit etc..

I don't mind the idea about Fat Bikes. Personally though I have no idea when I would use one.
I want to get an On One Lurcher though

I've ordered one... Simply because I couldn't think of anything else to blow money on... If it's crap... I'll put it in the bin and buy something else..

I love the look of the mini one that On One do! And no, it's not because I'm a mini man!
I think it would make a great urban-dick-about-bike. Can't see me wanting to do a 30 mile ride over the chase on one though.

I'm still to see the point in them. Why does there need to be a point?

I hardly ride mine but it's one of the two bikes I wouldn't get rid of. Too much fun and absolutely ridiculous to ride. I think the OP may well be having a spot of the "Victor Meldrews", something to do with age I believe.

No, the OP is having a spot of the 'poorer than a church mouses' and is just trying to wind up you feckers who have money to burn on pointless bikes.
I'd love a fat bike, after I'd got myself a carbon long travel HT.
Lend us a fiver?

I would love a fat bike, but id rather leave it a couple of years for the kit to come down in price an more options become available not just the bikes but parts like tyres etc.
