Choosing which frame is doing my nut in! I like too many but just don't know how to narrow it down. Id like to stick to a 26er to keep budget down, decision's giving me an headache!

I'm sticking with HT I think. For the frame I've got £350 max. Quite like the c456, crush, Marley amongst other.

In my opinion out of them it would be the C456. Also check the BFE & stanton slack line out aswell.

I do like the bfe in bright green. I've never ridden steel/cromoly/carbon so is the difference of rides that noticeable, I've read other threads stating how harsh the ride can be depending on what material the frame is? Or is this not really worth thinking about as I'm no pro.

Reynolds tubing is very smooth to ride a lot less harsh than carbon or aluminium, and can be as light as aluminium, the BFE only has a Reynolds down tube though... I'd take Reynolds over Alu or Carbon any day!...

Another vote for steel. If steel came out now it would be the new miracle material.
EDIT TO ADD Longshot. Has Jay (irideabike) still got that titanium frame for sale?

If i was looking to do a hardtail build i'd be looking at a stanton slackline. No techy reasons, just cos i think they look proper boss.
