Anyone else do this? my bike is fine, better than fine in fact, I have never had a bike that fits/suits me as much as this, however it annoys me a little that its off the shelf and identical to every other 2015 Mega Pro, for the last two days I have hovered over the buy button on a new Easton Haven 35mm bar and stem and some new (neon pink) grips just to make my bike that little bit different.
Only thing stopping me is that it's £200 on bits that aren't going to change the ride and the existing bits are perfect

Every single paycheck this happens to me.
For the most part it's the odd little bit here and there, some new gloves maybe, oh, some shorts would be good. Now though? It's become 'do I really need these new cranks?', 'is 1x11 worth the £400 outlay?'.
Get at least the grips dude, needs something to make it stand out!

I have a perfectly good Nukeproof Mega up for sale at the moment. Better than good actually, it's excellent! Like you, it's the best bike I have ever owned and is built up to a really high spec that handles everything the size of my testes allow. Yet i've just ordered a new Commencal Meta.....

I'm not the only one then . those XTR brake levers i got and fitted yesterday , well they are now sold to a friend (£75 for pair) (I paid £85 with discounts for them) who wanted them badly after deciding i wanted the complete brake set with the callipers and the TRAIL versions (had the race version) .
Now ive just bought the front and rear brake set for £258 (£250 with quidco) (with discounts ) already bled ..lol i must be mad .
XTR M9020 Trail Brake set .
im also hovering the buy button on a new lid .. the Bell super 2R and wondering if spending £142 on a helmet or even £166 on the mips version is really worth it .
anyone want to buy an Alienware Computer ? lol

Any time I spare cash I do it but I rarely have much spare cash these days. And dont tell the wife, I do the same to her as she does to me, and tell her everything was a half what I actually paid for it, well she tells me everything she buys was only a tenner...yeh right love.

Now that's tactics. What jersey you going for? Plain grey fox one and plain grey shorts, got enough colours going on now, just need a second pair of 510's then I have 2 of everything for when I do wet race weekends or weekends away |

I'm a bugger for kit...gloves, shorts, glasses etc. We are all the same, we see a pair of gloves 50% off but still £30 and think 'I'm having them - bargain!'...suckers the lot of us  |

I wouldn't get anything that makes the bike feel different if you think that it feels perfect the way it is
Fair enough replacing the shitty standard 780mm rise bars for some renthal ones etc, but I wouldn't get some that are totally different as it may make it handle worse
