I went down in a stupidly steep left hand berm and flung myself off to the right into a load of bracken and felled trees. I was upset, but it's coil side so I hope not going to cause too many issues apart from on my eyes. You can't feel the scratches at all, they sure do glisten in the winter sunshine though. Hopefully get a video up later of the days antics, Shropshire is the hidden gem of the UK, only riders out today and the riding is so good. There is certainly more to life than your nearest trail centre.

Sometimes shit happens ..it goes with the type of riding we do where crashes on the terrain we ride = scratches . The most important thing is that it hasn't affected the performance .. Wear your scratches with pride !

That is some view!
How are the trails running at the moment? I'm assuming that they should be pretty much perfect, with the lack of rain. Hopefully they should still be prime for Weekly Wrekin Wednesdays.

Stunning pics , shame about the forks but as you say its coil side so not too bad, performance should still be spot on

Nice pictures..
I am the only one who would be so annoyed by those scratches that I would HAVE to get new forks??

Think so.
I've scratched a couple of sets of forks before. Just taken the burr off with some super fine emery paper and they're all good again.

If I scratched the stanchions of my forks and couldn't hide it somehow, no two ways about it, I would get new forks! Nothing to do with how they work being scratched, just the fact they are scratched!
