Great news about the mega ..wise decision about the knee pads ..they would probably arrive at your destination 5 mins before the rest of your body !

Thank you I've had knee pads in the past and just not worn them, never really felt the need. Riding with these downhilliards though, maybe it would be wise to put some on. |

Yeah I know what you mean ..makes perfect sense to have and wear some ..but I'm the same ..just never have .
I have cut and scraped them to hell and back but never even tried any on to see how they feel ..

I wouldn't ride without knee pads now, had a few occasions where my knees have hit the ground first, honestly feel I'm still walking because of them.

Hopefully get there for about 9am as well. Look for the Knolly Warden and Canyon Torque being pulled out of a Nissan Note. No doubt be having a nose around the shop before hand.

We'll be a bit more difficult to spot though. A black and yellow Mega and a big wheeled 5 plus another bike I'm not too sure about.
You'll probably hear me moaning about being hungry before you spot us..

Yep, good day. Great t-shirt riding weather, good company, good BBQ and the burds were plentiful Vest tops, Lycra...the lot! We also rode some bikes! |

Great days chaps some of them down hill runs were a bit gnarly ...  Some nice drop offs , rooty as hell .. Love the little drop off bit , on the red few tips off the lads gave me a bit of confidence to do them all plus adjusting my brakes leavers as well as I noticed I was holding the bars correctly  Doh great eat to put faces to names on here |
