I've had a 1 X drivetrain on all but my very first bike. I hate front gears with a passion. I've run 36T in the Peaks, Llandegla and Cannock but since changed to 34T which, for me, is just right. A 36T at Cannock is easily do-able for me but a bit of a struggle in the Peaks..

1x10 if your stuggling with it drop it down to 30 on the front that's wot ive done ...
