By the way how are the nobbly nics? Iv'e never been a fan of Renthal because of the colour mate, why don't they just do black ? the Nobby nics are great, not had them in any mud yet but that might be tested tomorrow, they remind me of the conti trail kings i had on my last bike, fast rolling and grippy

I have to say normally like the bright coloured bikes, the new Whytes all look good in the orange and the blue as the Orange pain jobs.
However I much prefer the black to the limeade in the scout.
Pic below of my LBS owners bike, kitted out to the max and no doubt the dog googlies and has helped him to some good placed in recent Enduros but the blacks still better.
Slightly biased but the blacks better.

I guess that's why they offer more than one colour, for all tastes.
I must admit in the patrol I would have gone for the orange, the frame is amazing in the flesh.
By the way chopper your old steed looks belting on bobs site, he sold my bandit pretty quickly and the new owner seems pretty pleased with his purchase.

Just one thing, the Scouts come with the new nobby nics, fine on the front, but Oh Jeez just don't on the back, 4 punctures last week, they're just too lightweight , i was at Comrie Croft last week in Perth and it just couldn't deal with rocks , puncture after puncture AAAAAAAARRRRG

Aye i did notice it Kirky, new forks on it cos the left stanchion on the old forks was a gonner, Unless he got the forks for next to nothing i can't see how he's making money off of it, it still looks good though, if anybody fancies a rock eating enduro monster then here's the weapon for you, all tarted up and looking good www.facebook.com/refreshcycles

Finished the section with the stans spraying al up my back and covering the bike. the little tubeless maggot type things wouldn't get near sealing it. I toyed with sticking the front tyre on the back and replacing with a hand damf on the front. However the hobbyist front and back are both snakeskin so figured it wouldn't be much better. just finished swapping both out for spesh butcher and purgatory grid. All the spesh tyres were between 22 to 28 quid each last week so worth a punt. See how I get on with those.
