maybe just maybe ,, it could be a decent bit of kit and throw a spanner in the dropper world , but for £54.99 and 2 year warranty , gota be worth a go

Great spot Jony, I'm not a fan of lever types though, still probably better than not having one.

I don't mind a lever to be honest ,,, iv just gone 1x , to reduce clutter on bars and ease of shifting , so for me this not having a remote is fine , as there is nothing to add on to bars

Ive seen xc racers ride fast with the seat up and fair play to them theyve got theyre technique spot on but ive also seen an xc racer ride with a dropper and he couldnt believe what a difference it made without a saddle sitting just below your danglies, he was so much quicker on the downs,ok you can stop and put it down manually but having the option at the press of a button just makes life so much simpler on a ride, up-down without stopping is just such a game changer, wouldn't be without one mate

Gaz & Kev ..I hear what you are saying and there obviously must be a benefit ..but even on the steepest slopes when I can manually drop the post ..I hardly ever do ! I actually feel more in control with the seat up ..even if on the very rare occaision it becomes a chin rest ! However did we manage before these were invented ..bearing in mind that it's a relatively new invention?

With a dropper post it's just made it easier for me pal mines up and down like a tarts knickers ... Trust me once you use one you will never look back ..

Jony, I fancy one of these. I have a fair bit of seat post out just now an the pic looks shortish, can you tell me what the max length of this dropper is, ie minimum insert line to top when fully extended. Cant see any of this on the link.

I've gone from dropper sceptic to total convert Neil - honestly wouldn't be without one, has totally changed my riding. So much so I'm saving for one for the Zero!
