Is this fork available without the black stantions?
I've done a quick Google search and they all have black 'ens.
I thought somebody on here may know something Google doesn't?
Cheers chaps

I highly doubt so... The 'Fast Black' Stanchion Coating is their latest development... Their 2015 Forks, including Reba's get it so i think its here for good!
The black stanchions is one of the things i like about the Pikes

The only Pikes that dont have a black stanchion are the old Pikes

It wouldn't put me off buying the Pikes (they would be what I'd buy if I was in the market for new forks), but I must admit, I still prefer the look of Kashima for some reason

If I can't get new Pikes with non black stantions, I'll probably get Revs instead! Unless they are black too lol

He seemed a nice enough chap... On the internet anyway.
I'll try and get intouch with him somehow.
He may not have know of the problem, unlikely but you never know.
Oh well, one bitten..

Have they said what they think the issue, it's not a lot to pay really, even added up for what you bought them for... Still good Forks... If they worked...

Well it looks like my Pikes have started to throw a tantrum, I noticed towards the end of todays trip to Glentress that they were squelching, I popped into the shop and they said that something is deffo not right

I did ask them to have a guess at what the problem was after giving them all the details but, they wouldn't give me a clue! They suggest that I send them the forks for a Fox service which apparently fixes 95% of problems! They did make it clear though that after the service (or during) it becomes apparent the problem is still there, I'd have to pay extra.. They couldn't say how much extra obviously because they don't know what the problem is for certain.. To be honest, I wish I'd have stuck with my original idea of brand new Revs lol

The forks won't use all 150mm of travel! No matter what I do, they will only use around half..

I've sent the seller a e-mail! The only way of contacting him is via his Paypal e-mail address!
