If it won't have it mate drop it into your LBS? sure he'd sort it for a tenner. I'll be around on the 15th as long as it's morning. ay mate i have took it one shop it was free of charge as he just had a 10 minute look and said its something to do with the 10 speed crank with a 11 speed Narrowide ring and the chainline is off ..all gears are fine up to 10th then when in 11th it changes fine but back pedal for any reason and it drops to 10th and then 9th .. he couldn't see if the mech was bent or anything nor the hanger . he says only cure would to be to buy the XTR crank and ring ..£350 fitted ..ay right lol i will get the XT version with same fecking chainline off the germans . to me i cant remember it doing it when i first set the bike up so im now swaying towards a slight bent mech or a fucked cassette . so now its the elimination game and cheapest first which is actually a new mech . then XT M8000 crank and ring (will get crank first ) then the new cassette . i already eliminated the the chain as i bought a nice blingy gold KMC EL chain .

I thought the shimano stuff was compatible with the 11 speed gearing? I didn't think you needed to change the crank?

If the chain line is out can you not just mess with the spacers on the bb?

I thought the shimano stuff was compatible with the 11 speed gearing? I didn't think you needed to change the crank? Guy at shop said it's because it's a 2x10 crank and has a bigger chainline .as where my narrowide is is where the semi granny ring on the crank would of gone and to measure up with the 1st (largest back sprocket) The spacers would of made sense if there was any on the bottom bracket to take away but none on there . Perhaps my bike is a spas.

I've thought about getting 3mm washers and putting them in between the narrowide and the crank arm bolts .
Will get a second opinion .
