I like it and so the changes begin, this time next year you wont recognise the bike.

Cheers mate.
The cogs are already turning lol.
Thinking that I don't quite have the need for the x3 cogs at the front. May look at reducing down to one, maybe 2.
But I'm not really sure of the impact and haven't read up on it yet.
Grips are definitely the next on the list.

Ok so pedals are going well .. Love them, just need a decent pair of trainers now and I'll be more than happy .. But after an outing on the weekend, I seem to have dislodged the grips :/ Now sliding around all over the place. Looking at replacements, have heard good things about these - www.chainreactioncycles.com/odi-vans-lock-on-bonus-pack/rp-prod109564 Thoughts please? Or any others in a similar price range. ATM I am not using gloves either. Also, is there a temp fix I can use to stop the standards slipping around until the new ones get here? Its rather annoying !

Something I've done with my saints; removed the spacers on the pins, I felt there wasn't enough pin sticking into my shoes, now though, it's awesome! Except for the pain my shins occasionally feel.

Yes mate .. Went for a ride the other weekend after we had loads of rain.. Thought that I'd take the spacers out and try them .. Much better with loads of grip now..
Although I do still occasionally get the "creak" come back, under really hard force (steep hill, too higher gear) and they kind of "click"
Do you get anything similar?
I find if I take them off the cranks, clean them up and put them back in theyre ok again?

Not had anything so far, but to be fair when I'm clattering down the trails, I can't hear anything over the sound of the Five rattling away.
