It won a test in this months MBUK too. Although that was a £2.5k build.
They've upped the spec on the forks for the Aeris 3 - new uprated damper & a couple of other things.

Bummer mate - victims of their own success I guess. When I was there for the Zero test ride, they were building bikes in the office! and Dave said they were really struggling to cope with demand - and that was before the Aeris really took off. He was on about they were moving to a bigger factory - but I think the Aeris has rocketed in a way they just didn't expect, must be the most in demand UK bike for years!

Nice to see they're doing so well though.
Not helped by work dragging there feet on cyclescheme vouchers - HR/accounts sit on the requests until they get a certain number and then do them in batches.
Will email them and cancel the voucher request I think......
Anyone want a set of orange superstar Nano's??? lol |

Chris - very easy for me to sit here and glibly say this I know but - it's worth waiting for the bike you really want. I had a similar thing with the Zero, could have gone and got something else, but I'm really, really glad I waited it out.

Undecided at the moment.
Keep going back and looking at the Vitus.
I suppose it does give me a bit more time to see about getting down to Swinley for a test ride - but have been offered a ride of one locally by a guy on Chase Trails.
Also thinking back to my original plan of getting a decent second hand frame and building something up over the winter.

Spoke to Bird this morning.
They are indeed out of stock on pretty much most Aeris frames until Feb.
Cyclescheme voucher request cancelled as they're only valid for 60 days.
