Don't think we have the same descent from Mam Tor as last time either. Yeah they changed it round plus you climbing the big telegraph hill .. The wrong way and the descent is down the road ..  |

stll a good tour of the dark peak gaz. i bet your raring to go with your current fitness. if iv looked at the route correctly i make it 7 significant climbs, some short sharp, and some longer ones. is anyone else from here doing it with you? [edit] looks like dirkys joining you

No mate still just a frame and a box of bits  Work and family stuff is taking priority at the moment so unless I can get it done in the next week or so it'll be the trusty HT again. Gaz I think the route change was to do with preserving the trails - sure I read something about it the other day - will see if I can find it. The mistake they made was changing the date to March !! Completely stupid idea when the area is piss wet muddy and a bog !! So then they get loads of people to sign up then change the route again ., thats whats pissed me off .. |
