During the winter and when on solo rides I'll be on the SS. Probably won't be doing the Dog as it is just too hard on me old spine - but the Blue have some very challenging climbs for a SS so that's what I'll be doing. Bob, the only good advice is to get on your bike and get the miles in. Easier said than done and I know I am lucky where I live but - just do local stuff - often. When you are ready we'll start doing the Donkey together, even if the first couple of times take most of the day we'll do it together and this time next year....you'll be hitting those trails like a greased cougar from the planet big bollocks.....

Wot he says just save your money for now ride the on one and get ya fitness up mate I love build bikes and messing as well mate But you will enjoy riding more one you get a little bit of poundage off and. Your fitness up .. Plus the ht is easier to pedal up hills mate
