As you are all aware, Dr Watson came off worse after an argument with some Welsh dirt.
As a result, he is in Cardiff hospital undergoing observation and treatment and as yet it is uncertain how long he'll be there.
The idea of this collection is to ease the financial burden of hotel accommodation, food, travel costs etc placed on Andy's family.
Below are the details of how and where to send your donation.
Please be aware that I myself and several others on this forum have met and ridden with Duncan (who we are sending money to) and confirm he is 100% trustworthy and as honest as the day is long so, don't worry about that.
How to send money:-
You will need a Paypal account
log in to your account
select 'send money'
enter duncanjblom@gmail.com as the recipient
enter amount you wish to send...
If you send the money as 'gift' there will be no fees involved for either yourself or Duncan.
I'm sure that Duncan and/or Gaz will keep us all informed about the total amount raised.
Remember that any amount you can send would be fantastic. Every bit helps toward reducing costs for Andy and his family.

If you use the 'pay family & friends' option it should be fee-free for both sender & recipient as long as you use either cash from your paypal balance or bank account.
Also made a donation - should hopefully help with travel and accommodation costs.
Not met Andy, but the few guys who I have met (although quite briefly) have been great - nice to know that we can all pull together to help out.

That only seems to apply if you link it directly to your bank account ? ( I only have a debit card linked ) cost me 88p as I didn't have enough in my paypal account, tried to work around it but couldn't be bothered, however it won't have cost Duncan.

I have sent an email to Duncan requesting a different payment method ... I have an aversion to paying any kind of fee for sending money ..and I'm not going to be linking my bank account directly to PayPal ...

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Drum roll please . . . . . . . . . . . .
So far we have raised £250, a great effort by all those who have donated, thank you.
Lets see if we cant get an extra £120 for a replacement helmet for him Was looking at the MIPS version of the one he was wearing.
whatever you can give will be very gratefully received and go a long way financially to lessening the burden of this on his family, but more importantly mentally, in knowing there are lots of friends out there thinking of him and wishing he gets well soon.

Great effort lads. I'm proud of us.
Just thinking if he does get back on the bike, for some more sketchy areas he may like to preserve his handsomeness further, so the added confidence of something like a bell super 2 with chin attachment may be a good shout. Having crashed one on top of the head and collected some of welsh hillside in the chin guard I can endorse the strength and confirm the chin guard definitely isn't some novelty token gesture.
Can be found for around £120 without MIPS.
