It's been a fantastic sunny day here today and after spending too much time umming and arring about going out ..I eventually decided that it was too nice not to ..got togged up to do a local ride ..then couldn't find my Park Allen Key tool ..( which is needed to secure / clamp my forks to Axle ..four bolts ) ..after searching everywhere pack , clothing , car ..I was resigned to the fact that I had left it on the car park at Hamsterley last week ..so went down to the bike shop in the village to buy a new one ...only to find that Wednesday is one of the days it's now closed for the new " Winter " opening hours ...
Fckin Fizzing ..but it's my own fault !

Know the feeling. Had the opportunity to ride this morning so took it.
Had a window of 1.5 hours to get a ride in - brilliant!
Only managed first 3 sections of the Dog and got a flat - managed to pump back up and get back to the car. Grand total of 1.5 miles......

You were better off being at home, did 10 miles in the forest this morning with my dogs and it was cold wet and miserable, mind you the dogs didn't seem to mind
