Bought for my son an entry giant talon 4 having trouble getting it up so to speak tubless that is ...it looks like the large valve (stans all in one with rubber) makes the ridge on the rim too narrow for the tyre to seat in ...Any advice to get it blown up appreciated..

Decent track pump ..tin of spinach ..and pump as hard and as fast as you can ... Not really recommended for safety reasons ..but a compressor gets the job done ...

Make sure you get the rubber to seat in run a blunt tool round the inside of the rim so the rubber tube is under the bead side of the rim , You can use a sharp knife and trim it back as well .. Or just use gorilla tape wrap that round and fit a valve in and do it that way

In case you haven't yet, take a look at this video on YouTube:
Also it's worth remembering that you should add a bit of Stans every 3-4 months since it tends to dry. I bought a tiny (perfume) funnel from eBay that I can insert on the valve so that it allows me not to remove the tyre.

I keep forgetting to top up and then wonder why i'm losing air each day. I just use a syringe and enter through the valve stem, but still take to the LBS to pop on with their compressor. you shouldn`t be losing air just cos the stans is drying up.
