My sister got me some waterproof trousers and some basic gloves from sports direct. Only biking stuff so far. I'm going to get an endura soft shell jacket the stealth I think at some point.
I was hovering over various ride bike purchases for a couple of days as there are some cracking deals out there, I just visited Jejames rotherham to view a giant defy advanced pro disc brake carbon endurance road bike, lovely spec for the money, reduced for, 1500 to 900 with another 10% off all bikes at the moment however they only have large and sadly their large is just too big.
I managed to sell my spesh enduro this morning and on the way back from my meet up at Blyth services I called in to spend half my proceeds, unfortunately (or not according to my mrs) every bike I liked wasn't available in a appropriate size. Still I'm more informed now so I should imagine I won't hold out for too long.

A big fat zero...nothing! A box of chocs and choc biscuits...all eaten in the same day of course! Lol It's all about the girls now... However I took advantage of the Evans Xmas promotion and already got over 40 quid worth of vouchers...so thank you Mr. Evans...I'll consider that a Xmas present!

Yeah I know what you mean rlo...dads with a young family usually get a raw deal .. Small fortune spent on my 12 yr old son and the missus didn't come off too badly either ...but she loves Christmas and is worth it !

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I haven't been online much recently, have had no WiFi since the 20th!
Anyway, I done pretty well this Christmas. I asked for a few bike presents, so I got a new lid, a Cratoni All Track, a new backpack, A Camelbak Mule and an Endura chainstay protector!
Went on a ride on Monday and the helmet and pack felt great. Having a hydro bladder is so much easier, and the new helmet is extremely comfortable, didn't even know it was on!
