that is sooooo wrong....but also so tempting...lol! But i wouldn't be able to do it to myself...proper cheating! Depending on the type of riding I was doing I could happily use one of them. If was riding something like a trail centre which is more predominantly downhill orientated then I'd love to use it for the uphill sections and save all my energy for coming back down and you would also get more runs done in the day. For something like an XC loop it would feel more like cheating.

that is sooooo wrong....but also so tempting...lol! But i wouldn't be able to do it to myself...proper cheating! Wrong ! So much fun ..if you have never ridden a proper e-mountain bike then I challenge you to do so ..you won't pedal with less effort ..probably more as you push it as hard as you can ..the cheating misconception usually is spouted by folks who haven't tried one . Yes you will probably get pissed off if a fat lad passes you on one ..but you can take the higher moral ground that being the case .. Remember you still have to pedal these things ..they just allow you to go faster ..what's wrong with that ? A fit lad on one of these will still be faster than someone who isn't as fit ...embrace the fact they are only going to become more popular

i understand what you guys mean and you are right....i never tried them...i went to Switzerland last year, and e-bikes were predominantly what you could see in the shops...however you are surrounded by mountains there and/or people commute a lot since they have good infrastructure to do so. (awesome country) im not sure i will ever be able to embrace that concept fully...i like the grind and pain...because after it only makes it more pleasurable...but like many other things in life, they will probably just be common in a few years time and we (myself) just need to embrace them like you say.
