Sad to hear this.. was pretty sure he was indestructible. Such an unexpected way to go given his occupation!

It just makes you realise the things the pro riders go through, mostly for our entertainment! With such skill comes great risks and yet most of us look up to them as riders and wish we could be half as good but for me i think being half as good would be too much, they go above and beyond for their love of MTB. According to MBR he just collapsed and died on scene... I'm not sure where they got that info from as no where else seems to know how it happened. Apparent cardiac arrest.
Ride in peace Kelly, freeride wont be the same without that smile!

Actually gutted by this news, McGarry was an absolute legend who wasn't scared to push the boundaries.
RIP big man and may you forever be back flipping the cloud gaps :-(

I was shocked when i saw this earlier! That's way to young to die, especially when you're as awesome and as cool as he was... RIP big guy

Shocking - don't follow or even watch the pros but for someone like that to die so young is just shit.

I'm pretty much the same ..love riding but I'm not really a follower or watcher of events ... But that is a tragic way to go for one so young ... R.I.P

Here is the one he walked away from in China, this crash was caused by brake failure, he was literally along for the ride as nothing he could do
