Well, got it on the shiney new park tools scales earlier, little depressed, 11.49Kg, tyres though are not what I wanted around 900g each both wired which explains that. folding would take off about 4-500g plus it needs to go tubless. Had a quick scoot on it, things bloody fast forks seem a little firmer than I remember so gave them some silicon spray. Its defiantly lighter than its last setup.

This baby was 11.3 as you see on the photo...to be honest i would not recommend any lighter. Sometimes it felt too light. However if you go tubeless with lighter tyres (like Racing Ralphs) you could probably beat the 23 lb mark

11.3 with a dropper is very good! I did get a photo earlier just kind forgot about it. Looks a fair bit like it did before but ill change that soon enough.

Considering it had the big hoops too with a Nobby Nic at the front, it was good to come at exactly 25 lbs. I like black bikes...always did...I would maybe remove the wheel decals for even more stealth look...and get it tubeless and there is a lot of weight off straight away.

I may have misunderstood Step - apologies if so, but I've decided to strip my SS rigid and sell what bits I can - I bought brand new Deore brakes front and rear(cost me about 80 quid at the time) and they have barely been used, if you are interested? If not I'll just bung em up on the Marketplace section.

Maybe for my Ramin...I sometimes forget the brakes on that are not as good to brake only with one finger!? Lol...

If id have known id of been all over them I nabbed a cheap pair of SLX's put them on the full sus an the deores on this. Tempted to chuck a bigger rotor on the back for trail duties weight vs being able to stop wins out on that though these felt good but you cant really hammer it on your own street.
An yes tubeless will help loads, ill have a go at getting those decals off shouldnt be too hard to do

You happy with 40 quid mate? you'll need new brake pads so call it 35? there is plenty left on the pads but they are a bit contaminated off from when I shortened the hose and are noisy because of that (the discs on the SS were what was actually contaminated). I'll measure them and stick a piccie on later today?

Hi mate. Many thanks but as much as it is a great price, I've changed my mind on starting to upgrade the Ramin...otherwise i know where it will end up...ill start to want to upgrade everything...its my work horse and ill need to make sure only to swap when things go wrong. Sorry but thanks anyway. However, stick a photo on the market section and I'm sure someone will snap them at that price!
