Jase Doesn't 650b directly relate to a 27.5 " tyre ? I was always of that opinion anyway ..wait for a second opinion in case I'm talking shite ..but short of other advice that's what me personally would have used

The tyre diameter and circumference is the important part to work our cadence and distance so correct wheel size is critical. Tyre width doesn't effect any reading so if you have to pick from a list just go with the closest as if won t make any difference.

No manual input? on my old cateye it had a manual input - I chalked a mark on the tyre and path - did one full revolution of the wheel walking the bike forward, marked the floor again and then measured between the two marks on the floor. That gave me the exact figure for one revolution of the wheel and tyre.
If it hasn't got a manual function - then 650b is the same as 27.5 anyway.

Same as me but just used the valve as the marker Wish I could get mine to work, changed the batteries and still won't pick up the sensor so i am thinking fancy garmin for my birthday!
