Yes but hopefully you know where your going when you get there and worth such a journey for a few days stay.
I'm yet to book our summer lodge/cottage uk holiday, so I'll check the area out. At the moment it's looking like Berwick area, wales (again), southwest coast of Ireland or just maybe some when north of the border. Tricky balance between finding somewhere with nice beaches nearby, stuff to do for the kids on the rainy days and somewhere good for Mtb which should be travelling with me of course.

Arisaig ...have a look Kirky ...superb beaches and loads of biking on tap ..Fort Bill is just down the road ( relatively speaking )

Basically want to go now. That looks great It is a fair bit away but it is good and it's a nice village and there's other stuff to see like a huge castle nearby and a nice beach, golf if your into that sort of thing, haha |

Arisaig is some place. I’m heading up that way (FW) next weekend for two days and I will be taking the bike.
Will have a look online for some nice trails to do. Hopefully FW is open for the gondola however the weather has been terrible recently so it may not even be rid of the snow yet.

Weather is shit though so your issue will be wind keeping gondola closed. |
