Just putting out the feelers for now but iv got back to back weekends off in june. Yes thats right! 2 weekends off in a row. Im thinking of a forum meet up for the 11th june. Would anyone be up for an all day ride somewhere? Open to suggestions as usual, but i dont mind guiding a peaks ride if thats what people would like

I'd be happy to show around Clapham, Horton pen y gent. I'm just adding bits to piece together the best bits to make a great loop. Would be a tough 5 or 6 hour special. Only trouble is you need good weather. There's lots of hard pack options but they aren't as good.

Glynn...if you were thinking of that ride ...take a look at the ride that Timbo posted in the new routes section ..( North) That's not a million miles from what we did and it looks excellent

more slop than you could ever imagine you lost me there...hate slop, specially if on a long ride. But if it was dry, thats something epic that I'm sure would be great.

righty-ho then! just made a few enquiries, and we're thinking of a yorkshire ride and marmite gaz would probs have to come furthest but would be about equal distance for the ones who have shown initial interest including a chance for hodgy's gang to meet up with us. im quite fancying the rosedale classic, gaz is fancying bowderdale and kirkys fancying either. any more input from anyone before we make a decision?.....hodgy do you reckon the rosedale route would be dry enough by then?

Not sure Glynn ...we would need to ask Timbo who knows the area best ...and ask him very nicely to put his extended route up ... That would be the route that would twiddle my knobs most ... I'm not sure if he has changed his mind with the passage of time but I know one person who wouldn't be interested in the Bowderdale ride ...

Surely he would want another crack at it now he's stopped falling off with those silly pedals.
