A very long, but a very great day. Only 5 of us and no major incidents - just a brilliant, fun blast of a day!

No pics as such too busy enjoying it, couple of the lads managed all the reds, I managed all the blues and a red, I'm an XC bimbler you see, but next time back it'll be all the reds for me too. The reds at BPW are Cannock blacks, the blues are Cannock reds.

Nothing but respect for anyone that does any blacks at BPW. I looked at them and a little bit of poo came out just doing that - kudos mate. My top level will only ever be the reds there, if I can do all of them next summer, comfortably, I'll be a happy chappy.

The Reds were greT but aptly named. Rim dinger certainly bashes the shit out of your bike. This mightsound sad but I liked the little run from car park to uplift fire road. If it was longer made a cracking fast run flat out

The reds are great fun
Half the blacks are actually do able by mere mortals just like smashing down spud alley etc it's the jump lines that are worrying!

I think we need to bear in mind that BPW is a BIKEPARK! Gradings are different to trail centres!

If Jacks intention was to get you Cannock boys to "bite" ...well it worked a treat ! Lol. I know that Malamute was a regular at Glentress once upon a time ..so knows what a red is ...

It's just a name...just a colour as a guide - no biting, just saying. Lots of people find the Cannock trails a challenge, lots don't.

I agree with you with regard to standardisation ...lots of folks with young children think that a blue trail is easy family fodder ..I turned a family back who were about to tackle Betty Blue at Glentress last week with a tag-a-long and a kid in it who wouldn't have been older than 3 years! Would have been a serious accident ...so if anything I do believe that each section at each trail centre should be better described individually .
