What's your beef with On One? I made the mistake of visiting the shop when I bought my frame. The staff weren't interested in serving you and they tried to sell me stuff that wouldn't fit on the frame even though it was their frame and they were holding the friggin' thing in their hands. Bloke stood waiting to collect his bike when I went in was just starting to get pissed off as I left nearly an hour later. They just don't seem to give a shit. Not got a problem with their kit, just don't like the staff. Also couldn't be bothered when I wanted a cyclocross bike which is why I got the cannondale. Does sound a bit bad, like. Perhaps it's one of those shops where the staff don't know anything about what their selling!? Got to say that I am surprised at that..

Another lad at work had the 456 carbon full bike and they pissed him about so much on delivery he was at the point of cancelling - even had him all the way to the shop oop north at one point to collect only to tell him after the hour journey when he got there that it wasn't ready after all, still waiting for a part and he had to go home empty handed.
I'd buy parts off them (have done a few times, no probs either) and am looking at getting the carbon 456 frame myself next year, but they don't sound like they have a very good service going on there.

I've heard a few stories (one from Sarkyadam himself) about people being messed around when buying complete bikes!

Yeah I ordered a codeine and it went from a 2 week build, to a 12 week build to a not sure when build, a mate had the lurcher and ended up waiting 9 weeks... And wasn't built to spec. And they've lost 60% of their staff for some reason :s... Horrible customer service at the min!...

I was interested in the codeine, but it just kept slipping and things were very wooly. Bret is active on STW though. You mean brant?..

And if so he has now left them too... I've had a couple of On Ones, all bought second hand though. Original 456 and a 456 Summer Season, both wicked trail bikes and would love another (would be a Parkwood if I went HT)
Your bike looks mint mate.

Had a disaster at Cannock... One of the securing bolts on the rear caliiper came loose... And wedged between the rotor and caliper, bending the rotor. Had to drill and hellicoil the caliper mount!...

Yes I went through it with a fine toothed comb yesterday, happy to report, that seems the only issue... Maybe just bad luck?..
