Just looked - only 116 miles from Roojelly to Gisburn forest but 3.36 hour journey! must be a shoite route. Looks like another early start, thinking mid-week again, M6 on a weekend is a no go. Sounds like a plan!

Would be good to meet some of the Northern chapters.. We will get together next year...I can easily get a few of us together for the Howgills ride that Adam posted ..once the clocks turn back in our favour ..to suit you boys int terms of a date ... One or two of us can do midweek given a bit of notice ...and Glentress is only just over an hour away if you guys are coming up next year ..just need to get these winter months out of the way !

We'll have to sort a meet-up out.. If not Gisburn, somewhere else.

It is a bit of a shite route. It's 30 odd miles from me but takes just over an hour. You will be on the motorway for about 2 hours

Gisburn is the nearest trail centre to me,47 miles away.cannock is 96 miles but only takes an extra 20-25 minutes to get there it's deffo better when it's dryer, hully gully's a cracking black section and it's always worth doing a couple of times.

Wish it still looked line it did in that first video!
Gisburn is my closest worthwhile trail centre around 40mi minutes away. Let me know when you mid landers are heading up and I would love yo join you and show you around.
It's not bad if it's been a little wet and a few dry days see it just fine, it's good fun in any condition really you just have to take it steadier. The boardwalk sections are deadly though when anything other than dry.
There are some more secretive areas that can be explored to make it a longer ride and maybe more worthy of a three hour journey.

I wonder how many people miss this out thinking cos its a black its gonna kill them?? when I come back up to do it again I always see riders coming back down the long dirt track which I presume is the red coming down?

You know the bit where you once saw a guy in the stream? There's a short climb after that and then you turn right and keep zig zagging through gaps in a dry stone wall.i just over cooked one of the berms and lost it on the loose stuff. Just regular sort of thing for me.
