Right you funkateirs i am jumping on the band wagon and looking at getting a fancy new winter trail jacket and as a lot of chat has been on here about the Mayhem jacket I'm just after review or alternatives and possibly best places to get one in the midlands area possible as I do like to touch before I buy just like Mr woman

Bob - worn the mayhem once and very impressed, plenty of vents and a nice soft material instead of the horrible rubberised feel of the cheaper jackets.
Leisure Lakes are doing them for £72! best price I have seen. I went to Wolvo branch to try on and they have a few different sizes and colours there in shop.

I've not worn my mayhem on the bike yet but very comfortable and well vented. Seems very good quality and use it daily for walking the dog.

Seems like a great bargain...but just got me wondering when you said that the hood would fit over your helmet .. I have a good sized hood on my MT500 Jacket .. but having tried it once over the helmet , just found it too restrictive for moving my head side to side and as it does not fold away I wish it wasn't there ..anyone else use their hood ?

I only intend to use the hood if i'm having a break i.e eating, drinking, bletherin and it's yer actual pishin down from the heavens, can't see me riding with it in the up position, should've made that clearer

Great quality for the price and performs well enough! You can use it off the bike too which is a bonus. Walked up Snowdon and Scafell Pike in mine in comfort!
