DHers are lazy buggers! Uplifts or push power!.. Jealousy is a very bad trait When you have the balls to ride DH then you can comment on my laziness lol I find pushing a DH bike uphill is 10 times harder than cycling uphill anyway. Ask Stu (TypeR), he will tell you that DH is just as hard work as riding xc. Got to agree with that, dh really takes it out of your upper body especially. Not an easy day out by all accounts. Having said that I've also done long xc rides with shit loads of climbing and have felt almost unable to continue with being that drained. Neither is easy at times

I've ridden DH.... And found it boring riding Down for 2-3 minutes , and pushing up for 20 minutes Me too, even when paying for an uplift it's still boring, it feels like you spend hardly any time on the bike, it used to take about 3 runs to feel like i was just getting into a rythm and getting a sweat on, then wait on the bus again and everyone else to arrive then drive back up, we would get about 8 runs in but the time in between runs was too long and i was just bored with it

Inners is shocking for that, the uplift takes a long time, but the tracks are longer so its worth it. takes 45 mins to get to the top if you push so that gives you an idea of how long the tracks are uplifts at revolution bike park are fast as fuck tho. I managed 15 runs in a day. It would take 3 times as long to pedal back to the top. They have 2 buses on as well so there is always a bus at the bottom so you can pretty much do run after run after run. I am sure the record in a day for uplifts there is like 25 in a day

My thoughts too Chicken, but each to their own.. some people like natural XC, others like Natural DH, others like Trail Centers. Horses for courses. Riding is my main form of exercise other than Rugby, so its usually Commuting or Natural trails for me, and some forum rides.

Natural trails for me, and some forum rides. Well at least we agree on something When I get me trail bike, that is all I will be riding. I think thats why I like DH so much, because it's 90% techy/natural
