Great riding from Johannes Pistrol but somebody asked who did the music track from 1.08 in? I've only gone and found it - took some digging too. A really obscure but brilliant English lad from Staines, goes by the monicker of Conway Hambone. Blokes a bit of a genius and his album is going on my MP3 player for my lone rides!
Enjoy - can't remember who asked but I can link him to free downloads of Hambone's stuff too.

Some stand out tracks on it mate for sure - the above is my favourite but 'fade away' another cracker too. I'd say if you've liked their other stuff - get this one too. A bit mellower than the other albums and maybe more ballads than I'd normally like but still very good. I've got all their albums, liking the down south Bluesy stuff atm. You can listen to the tracks on Youtube - full album is on there.

Cheers Hodgy! just the kind of shizzle I'm listening too right now - I'll have a listen to the albums and buy a couple I prefer the heavier Blues but the mellower stuff is great too.

don't know if you lads would be interested in this but this is raw 70s blues rock.theyve headlined with black sabbath and the like in the early 70s and this is there best album. not everyones cup a tea I know, but GFR are one of homer simpsons favourite bands very up front bass guitar

That group past me by at the time ...I was more into Free , Zep , Wishbone Ash, Sabbath , Genesis , Emerson,Lake & Palmer, Deep Purple etc... Didn't have much time for Yank groups cos us Brits ruled the world back then ! It's still on my " to play " list though

It's still on my " to play " list though yeah was into all that, and still prefer it to all the newer rock stuff. youtube-music is brilliant for looking back on it as well as listening. me and a work colleague went to Sheffield arena last December to see Sabbath..............they wer awesome, opening song, warpigs made the hairs on the back o me neck stand on end. came away thinking ozzy can sing better than he can talk. it was 3/4 of the original line-up, bill ward didn't want to be involved but replacement drummer tommy clufetos was an absolute animal.......looked like a young version of bill ward.....brilliant concert the arena was rocking. few months after that went to see yes at city hall, 3/5ths of the classic lineup playing 3 classic albums all the way through........another brilliant concert.

Saw Sabs back in the 70s..Paranoid album was just out ..we were near the back in Newcastle City Hall Newcastle and the place was going mental. Yes has to be the most disappointing gig I have been to ..mainly because it was on The Tales From A Topographic Ocean Tour ..which is quite possibly the worst Yes album ever ..we only got warmed up on the encores! I still listen to modern rock bands ..Rival Sons ..being one of my current favs ...Jay Buchanan has an amazing voice ..but they don't make em like they used to !

Some good modern ones - Creed, Shinedown, Alter bridge, Foo fighters but yeah, agree tbh.
