Cheers
I think the guy before me was using it has a temp downhill bike which is why he built it with a 180mm front fork but Id like to change it back to the original 160mm but i'm torn between the new Fox 36 float or the new RS Pike???

To be honest Michael there's not much I can do what has not already been done...it was well spec'ed when I got it so just a couple of little things like the grips and rear mech needed changing. The dropper was the biggest thing on my list and id like to change the forks to Pikes or a similar Fox 36 RC2 but in a 160mm model.

Well I got some new forks, I went for the 36s RC2 but in 160mm They look stunning with the heritage stickers on im just waiting for a new hope brake adapter and then I can get out on it and see what its like now. The difference between the 180mm and 160mm is massive I thought the 20mm wouldn't be noticable WOW this is why im struggling on the ups...

Jeeeezus. So 20mm does make a big difference. ;-)

certainly does Matt, if Id have known it was that much I would have changed them when I first got it.
I'm sure when people say 20mm either side is safe to go up/down for the geo? I don't think they take into account the difference in axle to crown height.

Bloody hell, must admit I thought the only difference would be in the stanchion length they do look well with those stickers on.

Those forks are lovely mate, the bike looks great. It is surprising what difference 20mm can make, I was amazed how much bigger the fork was when I went from 150 to 170 on the EG

That looks like the perfect bike for the UK... Could take that thing anywhere, new forks look decent. Those 180's are huge !
Seems like you've put alot of thought into the bike, that stealth routing looks really nice aswell.
Top job!
