Minion/Ardent but go for the DH R2 on the front. Very good tyre indeed. It corners like a DHF but with more braking grip. I thought the R meant it is rear specific or is that the point you are making by saying it will give more grip ? I'm saying to ignore the 'rear specific' thing and run one on the front. Guys like Jared Graves and Josh Bryceland have been running them on the front as well as the rear.
