Just realised I'm taking the Mrs away that Friday! Shame you can't make it Chris, but there will be other rides this summer.

Yes - 100% it is - still not sorted travel out though as Chris couldn't come out to play Sundee and Mundee...I'll drive - it's whether I can fit 3 bikes onto poor little Stan's roof.,,,

Looks like I will have to bring my Avon Skin So Soft oil to get those midges away!? Lol Apparently, it works!? I'm still not entirely sure! Being a foreigner, the sun here doesn't have any effect on me, even on the hottest of days!

I've got 2 carriers as well, sounds like a plan Beansy.
Rlo, the Avon works, I've been using it for 2 summers now.

The Avon will certainly make you smell nice.unless it's an old bottle with deet in it ..which comes with a world health council warning as to be harmful to the skin in terms of absorption ..it won't keep the midges away .. If you want a true insect repellent go back online again to the Ballistol Web site you used and look up Stichfrei ( stingfree) this is also effective against ticks and is the best I've used for midges. Living on the doorstep of one of the largest man made forests in Europe ..I've tried a few .. It also comes with a UV factor and can be used as a sports massage oil... A true 3in1 oil!

Holy shit. Hahaha ...what an image you've just conjured up there Gaz ... I'd pay money to see you, Pez , Jay & Chris with bikes on roof all sitting inside Stan ... I'm assuming that's the name given to your Citroen C1 Pez ... Still chuckling now ...it would be a bit like the Beverly Hill Billies.... With respect to Stan though ...ahem!

Stan can manage 2 but 3 would be heavier than the car! (Yes it's the C1 Neil, named in honour of Stan Laziridis ). Gaz it's gonna be Jays car so not my shout mate. Can you get 4 bikes on a Cavalier?

Try and get there for 9.30 - 10? I'll confirm once I've spoken to the others. Personally I'd rather be there for 9 - have a brew then set off, but we'll see.
What about you? how far have you got to travel?

What about you? how far have you got to travel? From Sheffield...it will all depends on traffic at Glossop which on a Friday will be a bit bad. However I'll make my way there for whatever time really. Have you got a postcode?

What for Degla? yes - I'm giving you the postcode for the fisheries which is opposite Degla entrance - the Degla postcode takes you to a bloody farm 2 miles away! We are talking about an early start - to get there for 8.30 - 9 and chill for a bit before setting off - that ok? I'll PM my moby number in a bit so we can keep in touch on the day. Fisheries

I just found out that I need to be back in Sheffield for 4pm, so for me, an early start is better...not sure if I will have the time to do both the red/black and then the blue!
