Similar route to this www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/1144861732 taking in some of the Lakes classic's. It's all pretty low level and rocky trails so isn't effected by the weather. Meet at 9.30 for a 10 start. Meeting point is just outside Ambleside on the A591 with plenty of free roadside parking just opposite the White Moss car parks

Liking the pics apart from the last one, I need to change my gloves I'm looking like Albert Steptoe. Great days riding today, fantastic views all day, good route with some horrible climbs balanced up with fab descents, good company what more can anybody ask for. Oh good weather and lost of sun, we had plenty of that as well. Thanks again for showing me around Gaz and being kind by not sending me upto many steep hills. Bull shitter. . A few few alterntaive pics to those from Gaz, I won't duplicate the same scenes. [/

Ah. We did ride through the tunnel Glynn it's accessed through the back of the large cave then a carry up and other some rocks.
Quite surreal as it's very narrow and low in places and gaz was leading by the torch app on his phone and put his rear light on for me to follow. I ouldnt see the side of the walls either side of me.
However you're right we re staged that pic!
The old quarry was impressive and I've got a feeling gaz was smiling because the lady taking the pic was wearing a rather figure hugging vest top.
