Didn't think you could powder coat magnesium, can you? No idea .. tis weird stuff, got mag casings on the KTM, and decided to polish them up a bit (not blingy, just a light polish) .. looked lovely for a few weeks, then went dull as fook and looked shite
I need to change the colour of the Evo link on my Trek, it looks w@nk and always has, kinda spoils the whole bike in my view, spose I could spray it, but didn't think it would stand upto the stone chips etc like powder coat ..

No idea if this is any use - but the Chief is powder coated, rather than sprayed and the finish is loads tougher than any other bike I've had.

Yeah I've had loads of stuff coated for me motorbikes over the years, just never enquired about mag .. I'll give um a ring and ask the question
