So, I kept it quiet but my Fox Transfer post had to go back. It was getting stuck in the middle and I found very early after installing it, an hairline scratch on the stanchion...obviously I was quite annoyed! But the scratch became worse and there was some other damage that seemed different than just a scratch appearing. Wrote a letter explaining the facts, sent a copy of the receipt and after two days they called me to say they have sent a new one. They put it down to extreme unluck if some dirt had made its way through the seals and maybe something during manufacture was not quite right too. Also explained about the lever which they also will send a new one. Great service and the guy on the phone (Steve or Chris) was amazing. Really attentious and spent a while explaining loads of stuff and giving advice. Very Impressed! I once also had a problem with a fork and Mojo sorted it out for free very fast.
However if you ask me, my honest opinion on which dropper is the best...I would say Thomson (if 125 drop is enough) with the Bike Yoke lever.

I've also never had a bad experience with Mojo and they definitely know their stuff, I'm guessing that they will be busy just now too what with the X2 recall

Customer service is absolutely paramount sometimes, seems like Mojo have a good rep for that... Will be looking at Fox 36s in the new year and they will be my first stop

Don't discount the new 34's...most of the times the 36's are way too overkill and the 34's are very very good and lighter!

I plan on entering the Endurance downhill next year which is 6 hours of descending down Fort William Downhill and Racing as much of the Scottish Enduro series as I can. I'm pretty set on the 36s with 170mm

Oh ok, fair enough. Anything above 150 travel should go 36's of course. Are you going RC2 or FIT4?

I haven't really researched this probably RC2 cause I am a bit of a bitch for buying the top of the range stuff

Mines are Fit 4 with the latest damper set at 170 although thinking of spacing it out to 180 very soon, I cant fault it tbh, it's much better than the original Fit Remote damper

I haven't really researched this probably RC2 cause I am a bit of a bitch for buying the top of the range stuff Haha...they are both top of the range. RC2 doesn't offer QR axle and takes more time and knowledge to set up with the LSC/HSC tuning. The FIT4 has the 3 options (plus extra LSC on full open) and QR (making it a tiny bit less stiff due to the axle. Unless you are a pro, I'm not sure you can understand these changes. On my rides I tend to use the 3 settings so the FIT4 suits me well...plus I always need to remove the front wheel to store the bike inside the house/car.

Because mines is a franken fork I still have the bolt through axel, I think I'll change it to 20mm soon
